LAIZO STREAM is operated by Bawi Thang, an Australian sole trader. In this policy, “LAIZO STREAM”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that service and operator.

1. Scope and our approach

This policy applies when you visit laizo.stream, create or use a LAIZO STREAM account, upload media, configure or operate a stream, connect a third-party account, make or manage a subscription, or contact support.

We aim to handle personal information openly and responsibly. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles or another privacy law applies, we will handle personal information in accordance with those requirements.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

This may include your name, email address, authentication and security settings, phone number, business or company name, and the billing address and tax details you choose to provide.

Subscription and transaction information

We keep plan, stream-slot and storage allowances, subscription status, billing cycle, invoice references, payment status and limited card details returned by Stripe, such as brand, last four digits and expiry. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Media and stream information

We process video, audio, thumbnails, filenames, technical media metadata, stream names, schedules, output settings, destination URLs and stream keys so we can provide the streaming service. Stream keys are confidential credentials and should never be shared publicly.

Connected platform information

If you connect Google or YouTube, we may receive and store authorisation tokens, channel identity and channel or broadcast information needed to show your selected channel, create or manage YouTube live streams at your request, display status and disconnect the integration. For a manual RTMP destination, we use the destination information you provide.

Support and technical information

We collect messages, attachments and conversation status when you use Support. We may also collect IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, session and security events, error and service logs, and information about how the service is used. Your browser may store theme, consent and short-lived interface preferences.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • create and secure accounts, authenticate users and maintain signed-in sessions;
  • store media, create streams, transmit your selected content and monitor service status;
  • connect to YouTube or another destination only when you choose that workflow;
  • process subscriptions, confirm payments, provide invoices and enforce plan limits;
  • provide support, investigate faults and communicate service or account information;
  • protect customers, LAIZO STREAM and third parties from fraud, abuse and security threats;
  • maintain, troubleshoot and improve reliability and usability; and
  • comply with legal, accounting, taxation and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or uploaded media. We do not use Google user data or your uploaded content for advertising.

4. Google and YouTube data

Connecting a Google or YouTube account is optional. When you connect it, LAIZO STREAM requests the YouTube permissions needed for the connected-channel and live-stream features shown in the product. We use that data only to provide or improve those user-facing features, for security, or when required by law.

LAIZO STREAM’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect YouTube inside LAIZO STREAM. You can also remove third-party access from your Google Account. Disconnecting stops future API access but does not automatically remove records we must retain for security, billing or legal purposes. Contact us if you also want stored connection data deleted.

5. Payments and billing

Stripe provides the secure checkout and customer billing portal used for paid subscriptions. Stripe collects and processes card and payment information under its own privacy terms. LAIZO STREAM receives payment and subscription confirmations, Stripe customer and invoice references, and limited masked payment-method details needed to display and manage your billing account.

For information about Stripe’s handling of personal data, see the Stripe Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing and overseas processing

We disclose information only where reasonably needed to operate the service, when you direct us to connect or stream to another platform, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. Recipients may include:

  • Stripe for checkout, recurring billing, invoices and the customer portal;
  • Google and YouTube for connected-channel and live-stream functions;
  • Facebook, Twitch, Instagram or another RTMP destination when you configure it;
  • hosting, infrastructure, email, security and technical service providers acting for us;
  • professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where appropriate; and
  • a successor involved in a genuine business sale or restructuring, subject to applicable law.

Our service and providers may process information outside Australia, including in Germany, the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from Australian law. We take reasonable steps to select reputable providers and limit disclosures to what is needed.

7. Cookies and browser storage

LAIZO STREAM uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account access. Browser storage may remember your theme, cookie choice and temporary interface state. These functions are necessary to operate or personalise the service.

No advertising tracker is currently enabled on LAIZO STREAM. If optional analytics is introduced, it will be controlled by the consent choices shown on the site where required.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide and secure the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information:

  • uploaded media remains until you delete it, close the account, or it must be removed for operational, legal or policy reasons;
  • stream configuration and connected-account data remains while needed for saved streams or active connections;
  • support, security and technical records may remain for a reasonable period after an issue is resolved; and
  • invoices and transaction records may be retained for the period required by taxation, accounting and other laws.

Deletion from the active service may not immediately remove encrypted backups or records that must legally be retained. Those records are isolated from ordinary use and removed or de-identified when no longer required.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These include access controls, secure sessions, restricted administration and encrypted network connections where supported.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password, two-step authentication method, stream keys and connected accounts. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

10. Your choices and rights

You can update many account and billing details in LAIZO STREAM or the Stripe customer portal, delete media from Media Library, disconnect YouTube, change cookie choices, and cancel a paid subscription through the available billing controls.

You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete information that is no longer required. Some requests may be limited where retention is required by law, needed for security or dispute resolution, or permitted by applicable privacy law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

LAIZO STREAM is not directed to children under 18. Do not create an account or provide personal information unless you are at least 18 or the legal age required to enter this agreement in your location.

11. Questions, requests and complaints

Email support@laizo.stream with the subject “Privacy request”. Explain what you are requesting and include enough information for us to identify the relevant account. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, stream keys or two-step authentication codes.

We will review the request and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response and Australian privacy law applies, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-product or email notice.
